PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers finished the 2026 NFL Draft with 10 new players.
Pittsburgh made three trades during the draft. It made its first selection 21st overall and its last pick at 230th.

Pittsburgh's first selection was Max Iheanachor, an offensive tackle from Arizona State. He was the club's only pick on April 23.
Iheanachor, at 6'5 and 321 pounds, arrived at Arizona State from East Los Angeles Community College. Born in Nigeria, he moved to Compton, California at age 13 and did not play organized football until junior college.
Iheanachor made 44 career starts at right tackle for the Sun Devils and one at left tackle. He earned second team All-Big 12 honors in 2025.
Pittsburgh traded up from 53rd to 47th overall to draft Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard in the second round.
This move followed Philadelphia's surprise pick of USC receiver Makai Lemon at 20th overall after the Eagles traded up. Pittsburgh subsequently chose Iheanachor 21st.
A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bernard led Alabama in receptions back-to-back years. He made 64 catches for 862 yards and seven touchdowns in 2025.
Perhaps the Steelers' most notable pick came at 76th overall when they chose Penn State quarterback Drew Allar.
Allar is the fourth quarterback drafted by Pittsburgh since 2022, joining Ohio State's Will Howard, Pittsburgh's Kenny Pickett and South Dakota State's Chris Oladokun. He'll join a QB room which will feature Howard, Mason Rudolph and, potentially, 2025 starter Aaron Rodgers.
Allar logged 7,402 passing yards in 45 games at Penn State, including 35 starts. His college career began with 311 pass attempts without an interception, an FBS record.

Nine slots after drafting Allar, the Steelers made their first defensive selection, choosing Georgia corner Daylen Everette at 85th overall.
The first of three third-round picks for Pittsburgh, Everette played 55 games in four seasons at Georgia. His 10 pass breakups led Georgia in 2025, as did his three interceptions in 2024.
Pittsburgh traded up from the 99th to 96th overall pick to draft Gennings Dunker, an offensive lineman from Iowa.
Dunker grew up in Lena, Illinois and competed in football, wrestling and track at Lena-Winslow High School. He twice earned All-Big 10 honors and was part of the 2025 Joe Moore Award-winning group for the nation’s best offensive line.
