The final week of the 2026 high school baseball season is upon us.

Here’s a look at the top hitters in Cleveland, Gaston and Lincoln counties, surveying players’ batting averages (minimum of 30 at bats), hits, home runs and RBIs through Friday, April 24.

Regular season action concludes May 1, with baseball playoff brackets unveiled Monday, May 4. Postseason action begins the following evening. Third- and fourth-round play is scheduled for May 12 and 15, respectively, with regional championship series to take place May 19-23. NCHSAA state championship series are scheduled for May 27-30.
