The Ohio Capital Conference has announced its honors for the 2025-26 OHSAA boys basketball season.

The hardwood heroes of the Ohio Capital Conference have been crowned. As the 2025-26 high school boys basketball season concludes, the OCC has unveiled its prestigious all-conference honors, recognizing the standout talent across all five divisions. These players have defined the year with their skill, hustle, and leadership on the court.

In the premier division, a mix of seasoned seniors and rising stars led the way. The First Team is headlined by Newark's dynamic duo of senior Jake Quackenbush and senior Ty Gilbert, alongside Reynoldsburg's powerful senior class of Xavier McKinney and Jordie Bowens. They are joined by sophomore standout Mekhi Roddy (Reynoldsburg), senior Brody Fields (Teays Valley), junior Landon Evans (Pickerington Central), senior Elijah Dunn (Canal Winchester), and senior Tyreke Ruffin (Groveport).

The Second Team showcases more of the conference's depth, featuring promising underclassmen like Groveport sophomore Jordan Wagner and Newark junior Tybron Brooks, alongside key senior contributors such as Lancaster's Drew Whitlatch and Cam Eaton, and Pickerington Central's Aaven Snyder.

Recognition extends to the Special Mention and Honorable Mention lists, highlighting crucial role players and future stars who made significant impacts for their teams. The Scholar-Athlete awards celebrate those who excel both in the classroom and on the court, with honorees including Teays Valley's Brody Fields and Reynoldsburg's Xavier McKinney.

Guiding these talented rosters to success, Jeff Quackenbush of Newark and Andrew Moore of Reynoldsburg were rightfully named Coaches of the Year for their division.

In other OCC divisions, the talent pool remains exceptionally deep. The First Team in another competitive bracket features a formidable core from Westerville North, including senior Elijah McCree and juniors Tony Cornett and Tyson Perkins. They are joined by Big Walnut's junior standouts Carson Scholl and Eli Stumpf, Westland's junior Breaker Heller, Westerville South sophomore Xavier Jones, Worthington Kilbourne senior Luke Page, and Westland junior Antwon Pollard.

The Second Team continues to spotlight the conference's bright future, with players like Westerville South senior Hassan Kaba, Dublin Scioto senior Laith Alsaadi, and Westerville North junior Damion King earning well-deserved nods for their stellar seasons.

Congratulations to all the athletes, scholars, and coaches honored. Your dedication and performance are what make high school basketball in Ohio so exciting to watch.
