Which ACC head coach hates Notre Dame the most?

The ACC head coach hate toward Notre Dame is based more out of jealousy than wrongdoing, but you already know that.

There's a giant target on Notre Dame football's back right now, and the wolves are circling. No program stirs up as much animosity and debate as the Fighting Irish, and this offseason, that tension is on full display—especially within the ACC.

Last season's drama is still fresh, and the quotes are piling up, particularly the anonymous ones. One ACC source recently took a shot at Notre Dame, comparing them to an unwelcome guest who "walks in the house, opens the fridge, eats all the food, then screws the wife, kicks the dog, doesn't pay the mortgage & walks out without any skin in the game." Ouch.

While we can probably guess Pitt's Pat Narduzzi is behind many of these barbs, it's safe to assume Dabo Swinney (Clemson), James Franklin (Penn State, though not ACC), Dave Doeren (NC State), and Mario Cristobal (Miami) would gladly join the hate fest. But let's be real—this is an ACC problem.

Notre Dame isn't blackmailing the conference into this deal. The real issue? An inferiority complex fueled by football programs that keep losing to the Irish on the field. Whether it's jealousy over Notre Dame's independent status or frustration over their special ACC partnership, the resentment is rooted in performance.

With the exceptions of Miami, Clemson, and maybe SMU, the ACC isn't doing enough to compete with the SEC and Big Ten. Instead of leveling up, they're lashing out at Notre Dame. And honestly, that says more about them than it does about the Irish.
