Wisconsin football is off to a strong start on the class of 2027 recruiting trail.

Wisconsin football is building serious momentum on the 2027 recruiting trail, securing a foundation that has the Badgers' future looking bright. After a period of limited in-state hauls, the program has made a powerful statement by locking down commitments from eight homegrown talents, including three highly-coveted blue-chip prospects.

Headlining this early group is four-star running back Kingston Allen from Green Bay. Ranked as the No. 139 overall player nationally and the top recruit in Wisconsin by 247Sports, Allen brings explosive potential to the Badgers' backfield. He's joined by fellow four-stars, tight end Korz Loken and offensive tackle Cole Reiter, who rank as the state's No. 2 and No. 3 players, respectively. Loken is also considered a national top-10 talent at his position.

The Badgers' strong in-state focus is further solidified by a core of five three-star commits, bolstering the trenches with offensive linemen Hunter Mallinger, Ethan McIntosh, and Reece Mallinger, while adding defensive pieces in edge rusher Isaac Miller and safety Dustin Roach. This collective effort has Wisconsin's 2027 class positioned impressively in the early national rankings, generating excitement as official visit season approaches.
