The 130th edition of the Boston Marathon looks to create more memories that will last a lifetime. Who will end the day with bragging rights?
Tens of thousands of runners will embark on the 26.2-mile trail from Hopkinton to Copley Square downtown. From Boston locals to runners from all 50 states, along with 130 countries, the Boston Marathon truly brings everyone together.

The Boston Marathon will air nationally on ESPN2 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET. Fans can live stream the broadcast on fubo.

The first start time for the 2026 Boston Marathon is at 9:02 a.m. ET, when the men's Wheelchair Division kicks off race day. See the start time for each division below.
The Boston Marathon will start on Main Street in the town of Hopkinton and will follow Rout 135 through Ashland, Framingham, Natick, and Wellesley. From there, Route 16 takes over until it transitions to Route 30.
