The Florida State Seminoles softball team had a perfect week, taking down the Florida Gators in a top 15 matchup before going on the road and sweeping the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The four wins caused them to climb in the polls, and they are once again a top 10 team in the country.

The Seminoles' ranking jumped four spots in Softball America's Week 13 Top 25, and they are now the No. 8 team in the country. They are 43-7 overall and 18-3 in conference play.

FSU beat Florida 3-1 on Wednesday to start the week, giving them a much-needed top 10 win on their resume as they push to be a top 8 seed in the tournament. While FSU swept them, the Georgia Tech series was competitive outside of Game One, when Jazzy Francik threw her second no-hitter of the season. The Seminoles won the final two games of the series by just one run, with Sunday's game going nine innings.

The Seminoles are back to being the highest-ranked ACC team, just ahead of the No. 10 Duke Blue Devils. No. 16 Stanford, No. 17 Virginia Tech, No. 22 Louisville, and No. 24 Clemson give the ACC six teams in the top 25. All seven of FSU's losses have come against ranked opponents.

FSU is set to have another key midweek matchup against the No. 9 Florida Gators, its final midweek game of the season. The game is set to start on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET in Gainesville, Florida, and will be on the SEC Network.
