After falling short of their postseason ambitions, the Philadelphia Eagles are slated to enter Round 1 of the 2026 NFL Draft with the No. 23 overall pick.

Howie Roseman and the Eagles staff have eight total picks to worth with in this year’s draft, and they’ll use that haul to move up and back throughout the weekend. Few things thrill Howie Roseman like making a trade, and the GM could start the event off with a big move up in the first round.

The draft starts at 8:00 PM ET, but after songs and introductions, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell won’t announce the Raiders are on the clock until about 8:15 PM ET. From there, especially in the first round, teams tend to utilize most of the time they’re allotted to entertain trades and finalize their decisions. This year, teams only have eight minutes in the first round to make their selection, down from 10 minutes in years prior, in order to speed things up a bit.

All of this is to say, if you’re looking to stay awake to see what the Eagles do at No. 23, you’ll probably be waiting until about 11:04 PM ET. Until then, you can wait to see a “TRADE” graphic on the broadcast and hope it’s Howie making a move earlier in the night.
