Nick Singleton didn't get drafted in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Penn State RB should come off the board at some point, though, potentially during the second and third rounds on Friday.

Singleton and his college backfield mate Kaytron Allen are both positioned to have success in the NFL.

So much for running backs comes down to where they actually are picked and what kind of scheme and opportunity they are given.

Singleton has the ability, though, which he proved consistently with the Nittany Lions.

One of the most in-depth draft analysts is Dane Brugler of The Athletic.

In Brugler's final mock draft, he placed Singleton with the New York Jets in the third round.

If that holds true, Singleton will be drafted on Friday.

But if he slips past the third round, he'll have to wait through Saturday, when rounds four through seven are held.

One of the safest parts to drafting Singleton is that he's not just a rusher. He proved in college that he's also a quality receiving back.

That means a team could slot Singleton into multiple potential roles as he grows into the NFL, which is always a positive versatility trait to have.
