The UFC is making history with an unprecedented event at the White House, bringing the Octagon to the South Lawn for a celebration of American independence. President Donald Trump, a longtime friend of UFC boss Dana White, will host "UFC Freedom 250" on Sunday, June 14—coinciding with Trump's 80th birthday.
The fight card kicks off at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET (1 a.m. BST Monday), featuring seven bouts that promise to deliver high-octane action. White has called it the greatest card in MMA history, and while some fans have raised eyebrows at the lineup, the matchups still pack serious punch.
Headlining the event is a lightweight title clash between champion Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje—a fight that's already generating buzz after Topuria teased Trump in the Oval Office. The co-main event features Alex Pereira taking on Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title, while heavyweight slugger Derrick Lewis faces Josh Hokit, who earned his spot after a ringside request from Trump himself. Middleweights Bo Nickal and Kyle Daukaus round out the main card, with Daukaus controversially claiming he doesn't deserve the spotlight.
The event will stream live on Paramount+ and CBS, as confirmed by Ari Emanuel, CEO of the UFC's ownership group TKO. "It's gonna be CBS, Paramount+. I mean, I don't know who is not watching that fight card," Emanuel said in April.
Access to the White House fights is strictly invite-only, but fans can apply for free tickets to watch from the Ellipse park, adjacent to the White House. White revealed that 4,300 people will attend the main event, with the majority being military personnel. "Trump wants this to be mostly for the military," White said in May. "We're gonna give away about 85,000 tickets to the Ellipse. There's a process—you have to register, and they're free."
