Mark your calendars, Tigers fans! The annual Blue and White Spring Game is set for Saturday, April 11, kicking off at 12:30 p.m. CT inside the iconic Walter Payton Center. This intrasquad scrimmage is the first major showcase of the year, offering a thrilling preview of the 2026 squad.
This year's game carries extra significance as it will be the debut for a massive wave of new talent. With 40 fresh additions to the roster, fans will get their first look at the players aiming to build on last season's strong 9-3 finish and chase a SWAC championship.
Be advised, April 11 is a busy day on campus. Planning ahead is key for a smooth game day experience. Due to other events, parking will be limited. Available lots include the T.B. Ellis Lot, College of Business Lot, Liberal Arts Lot, and Poindexter Lot. Note that Dalton Street will be partially closed starting at 5 a.m. for a campus 5K.
For those looking to tailgate, spaces are available! The parking lot by the Walter Payton Center will host RV and tent tailgating. Spots are limited to 40 RVs and 50 tents, so you must register by April 10. RV spaces are $100, and 10'x10' tent spaces are $25. RV parking begins at 6 p.m. on April 10, with tents set up in the grassy area near the tennis courts.
Finally, remember the stadium policies to ensure a great time for everyone. The Walter Payton Center enforces a clear bag policy and does not allow outside food. Fans can sit in the provided bleachers or bring their own lawn chairs for the adjacent grassy areas, but access to the field itself will be prohibited. Get ready to see the future of Jackson State football in action!
