The tournament structure remains quite similar to that of a typical four-team playoff, where the top four sides in the league phase proceed to the playoff phase.
In the Qualifier match, the top two finishers compete against each other. And the winner proceeds directly into the finale.
Simultaneously, the third and fourth teams collide in Eliminator 1. But the losing team is instantly disqualified from the competition.
Then, the losing team from the Qualifier matches meets the winner of Eliminator 1 in Eliminator 2. The winner advances into the finale.
As such, the teams in the top-two spots have two chances to qualify for the final.
