For high school football programs across Murfreesboro, the critical evaluation period of spring practice is just around the corner, setting the stage for the 2024 season. Most TSSAA teams in the area will hit the field for their allotted 12 practices within a 15-school-day window starting in late April and early May, a crucial time for installing schemes, assessing talent, and building team chemistry.

This spring carries particular significance, as three programs will be led by new head coaches getting their first on-field look at their squads. Blackman's Will Hester, Stewarts Creek's Steven Reese, and Providence Christian's Marty Euverard are all embarking on their tenures, with Euverard's Lions returning to spring ball after skipping it last year.
