The road to the championship starts Monday, May 18, for Classes 5A and 6A, while Classes 1A through 4A begin their journeys on Tuesday, May 19. With 50 teams total competing across all classifications, the competition is fierce. In Class 6A, 24 of 36 teams qualify, while Class 5A sees 12 of 23 teams advance. The smaller classes are just as competitive, with Class 4A sending four of nine teams to the playoffs, and Classes 2A and 1A seeing four of five teams make the cut.

In Class 6A, powerhouses like No. 1 North Penn, No. 3 Pennsbury, No. 4 Souderton, No. 5 Neshaminy, and No. 6 Council Rock North all earned first-round byes. They'll step onto the field in the second round on Wednesday, May 20. Over in Class 5A, No. 3 Upper Moreland also enjoys a first-round bye, giving them extra time to prepare.
The championship schedule is packed with drama. The season culminates on Thursday, May 28, with the Class 6A title game, while Class 5A crowns its champion on May 27. Classes 4A, 2A, and 1A will settle their scores on May 21, and the Class 3A regional play-in game is still to be determined. With six PIAA qualifiers in Class 6A and four in Class 5A, the stakes are higher than ever.
