The first night of WrestleMania 42 is in the book. Really, it's one to forget.

The crowd seemed conflicted at best and confused at worst to end the show as Cody Rhodes retained the world title over Randy Orton to a chorus of boos. But then the show ended with Orton punting Rhodes in the head. Using the main event of WrestleMania to continue a feud is strange. As was the inclusion of sports talk host Pat McAfee and singer Jelly Roll. Who wanted those things?

Don't forget about the advertisements, either. WWE has mastered the art of capitalism and it seemed like Saturday's show was more ads than entertainment.

Maybe the second night will be better. Here's how to watch it:

The second night of WrestleMania 42 begins at 6 p.m. ET. Coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET on WWE's various social media channels.

The first hour of WrestleMania 42 – the first two matches – is airing on ESPN2 and ESPN's streaming service. There will be five matches on the pay portion of the card.

In the U.S. you'll need an ESPN Unlimited subscription to watch WrestleMania. A standalone subscription for Unlimited is $29.99 a month. You can bundle Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Unlimited for $35.99 a month. You don't need to pay an extra fee for WrestleMania.

WrestleMania 42 is taking place in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium, home of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders.

Here is the card for tonight, in no particular order.

Intercontinental Championship ladder match: Penta (c) vs. Je'Von Evans vs. JD McDonagh vs. Dragon Lee vs. Rusev vs. Rey Mysterio (on ESPN)

United States Championship match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Trick Williams

WWE Women's Championship match: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

World Heavyweight Championship match: CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns

The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) and LA Knight defeated The Vision (Logan Paul and Austin Theory) and IShowSpeed by pinfall

Brie Bella and Paige (with Nikki Bella) defeated The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) (c), Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, and Bayley and Lyra Valkyria by pinfall

Gunther defeated Seth Rollins by technical submission

Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer (c) by pinfall

No, you can no longer watch WrestleMania on NBC's streaming app Peacock.

WWE's spooky new wrestler doesn't have a match on either night of WrestleMania 42. So expect him to show up in some fashion during a backstage segment. Maybe he'll even hit someone with a curse.

After being retired in December, John Cena will be making his return to WWE as the host of WrestleMania.
