The Los Angeles Chargers will remain active in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Chargers enter the second day of the draft with a pair of picks, with one in the second round and another in the third round.
The Chargers used their first-round pick to select edge rusher Akheem Mesidor to help bolster what has already been a strong defense.
The Chargers will have other needs to address and could potentially find quality starting talent with their current picks.
The team will need to find an offensive guard and a wide receiver.

The NFL Draft starts back up at 4 p.m. PT on Friday, April 24, at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Day 2 will cover the second and third rounds of the draft. Teams will have slightly less time on the clock on Friday, with just seven minutes between picks in round two and five in round three, compared to the eight minutes on Day 1.
Day 2 of the NFL Draft can be watched everywhere that Day 1 was. ESPN will also have a simulcast on ABC, though both have historically shifted to ESPN2 after the first hour on Day 2.
Streaming options include different broadcasts on NFL+, the NFL's proprietary streaming service; ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited, ESPN's streaming services; or Fubo, which offers a free trial for new subscribers.
