"We've been discussing this idea for a long time," Sheffield said. "When the conference presented a solid plan for 2027 a few months ago, our reaction was immediate: 'This looks fantastic. Can we make it happen in 2026?' You could almost hear the collective gulp from the organizers, but they delivered."
Set to begin on November 20, 2026, in Fishers, Indiana, the inaugural Big Ten Volleyball Tournament will pit the conference's elite programs against each other in a high-stakes, win-or-go-home format.
