Veteran cornerback Rasul Douglas remains a free agent well into May, with the 30-year-old defensive back speaking candidly about his ongoing search for a new team.

In a recent conversation with reporter Easton Butler, Douglas didn't shy away from expressing his fondness for Green Bay, calling it "home." The Packers, along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, and Washington Commanders, have reportedly been in discussions with the seasoned cornerback. However, Douglas was quick to downplay the specifics of those rumors, telling Butler, "Idk how accurate that is honestly," and admitting he doesn't yet know where he'll land.

Douglas, originally a third-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017, has built an impressive 135-game career across the league. His most productive stretch came with the Packers between 2021 and 2023, where he snagged 10 interceptions in 36 games, earning a three-year, $21 million extension. Green Bay eventually traded him to the Bills at the 2023 deadline, and he later signed with the Miami Dolphins in August 2025, tallying two interceptions and 13 pass breakups last season.

Cornerback depth remains a pressing need for the Packers, even after adding Benjamin St-Juste in free agency. Douglas, who turns 31 in August, has seen his market develop slower than expected this offseason—a situation that could ultimately benefit whichever team moves quickly to secure his services.

For a player with Douglas's experience and ball-hawking ability, the right fit could come down to timing. Whether he returns to familiar turf in Green Bay or brings his veteran presence to a new contender, one thing is clear: Rasul Douglas is ready to make an impact wherever he lands.
