BATON ROUGE – The 2026 college baseball regular season is entering the final stretch and LSU baseball is looking to end what has been an abysmal season on the right foot.
LSU have been swept in three straight SEC series for the first time in program history, most recently this past weekend at Mississippi State. Jay Johnson and his ballclub are 2-10 in their last 12 games and the two wins are midweek games over Northwestern State and New Orleans.
The Tigers (24-21) will try to make it three straight midweek contests when they host Southeastern Louisiana (28-17) at Alex Box Stadium Tuesday night.

Southeastern Louisiana is tied for the lead in the Southland Conference standings with Lamar and it enters the matchup with LSU as winners of four straight.
