The Cleveland Cavaliers opened the playoffs with a bang, easily handling the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 with a 126-113 victory.
Donovan Mitchell and James Harden worked great in their first playoff game together, combining for 54 points with four threes each. Cleveland was up big 21 points after three quarters allowing the team to ease to the win in the fourth.
However, that was just Game 1, so the Raptors have more opportunities to get back into the series. Toronto's offense was pretty efficient in the first game, but the defense left a lot to be desired as it allowed the Cavaliers to score at least 35 points in two separate quarters, which buried the team in its comeback attempt.
Game 2 will once again take place in Cleveland before the series shifts to Toronto for the next two games. The Raptors will need to find a way to win at least one road game in order to win this series.
