Auburn University is writing the next chapter for its iconic Jordan-Hare Stadium, launching a monumental $300 million renovation set to transform the 90-year-old home of Tigers football. Approved by the Board of Trustees, this multi-year project is the largest capital undertaking in the university's history, aiming for a grand completion in 2029. It promises to revolutionize the fan experience for generations to come.

This isn't just a stadium upgrade; it's a complete reimagining of the game-day atmosphere. The plans include a massive boost to fan comfort and convenience with 270 new restroom fixtures, 66 additional concession stands, 13 new elevators, and five new entry gates. The goal is to enhance every moment from arrival to the final whistle.

A major highlight is the new north end zone facility, a 300,000-square-foot hub of activity. Its sixth floor will feature a concourse that finally connects the east and west upper decks, dramatically improving crowd flow and access. This space will also become the new, dedicated home for Auburn's legendary pregame eagle flights, creating an even more iconic spectacle for fans.

Central to the project is "Shug's Food Hall," a versatile tribute to legendary coach Shug Jordan. This space will function as a campus dining hall during the week and transform into a premium concessions and social hub on game days. It will also house conference spaces, retail, and student activity areas, featuring the stadium's old north end zone scoreboard as a piece of living history.

While maintaining Jordan-Hare's formidable capacity of over 88,000, the renovation will add more than 3,000 new and upgraded premium seats. These will include over 50 suite options, with exclusive new spaces like the Tiger’s Terrace and the 1892 Club, offering unparalleled views and amenities. This historic investment ensures that the roar in Jordan-Hare will be louder, more comfortable, and more memorable than ever before.
