When asked about the stadium, his eyes lit up. "It's very impressive. I think it's beautiful. The stadium is huge. I can't wait to play here in front of all those people, in front of all the fans. Having come through the ranks at Paris Saint-Germain, he witnessed Dortmund's dramatic Champions League victory in 2024 firsthand. "When Süle cleared that ball, it was mad. It was a really good game." That moment of pure defensive determination clearly left a mark.

When it comes to role models, he looks to the best. "When I was younger, I often watched Sergio Ramos or Marquinhos. I'm inspired by his mentality. The guy just wants to defend his goal as if it were his own home. It belongs to him, so he defends the goal as if his life depended on it." And he brings that same intensity to the pitch. "When I'm on the pitch, our goal is like my own home to me. It's as if I have to protect my little brother. Nobody's getting in here."

His ambitions are as big as the club's. "Personally, I want to become as good as I possibly can. I want to win as often as possible, win lots of titles and play lots of games for this club. That's my dream."
