In a thrilling encounter that had everything, Pep Guardiola insists Manchester City will "keep going and see what happens" after a dramatic 3-3 draw with Everton saw the Premier League title slip further from their grasp.

The result leaves City five points behind leaders Arsenal, though they do have a game in hand. But after a rollercoaster afternoon at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, Guardiola's side showed exactly why they're champions—refusing to surrender even when trailing 3-1, with Jeremy Doku scoring a sensational 97th-minute equalizer to snatch a point from the jaws of defeat.

"It's better to have a point than no point," Guardiola reflected. "But it would be better to win the game. Many things happened—we know the difficulty of the opponent, they are incredibly aggressive. We were exceptional in the first half, but in the second, they stepped up. We played with good process but maybe not the same intention."

The match was a tale of two halves. City dominated early, with Doku firing them into the lead just before the break with another impressive strike. But Everton came roaring back, and Guardiola acknowledged their threat: "We gave away the first goal, then from the corner they are so good. David Moyes always is with set-pieces."

Despite the setback, Guardiola praised his team's fighting spirit. "When you score and have the momentum, you have to win the game given the situation. With the long balls they are better, they win free-kicks and throw-ins. You make some decisions a little rushed because of the emotions, but without that emotion you cannot come back. If you give up, you cannot do what we have done."

The draw means City no longer control their own destiny in the title race. "It was in our hands before this game, but now it's not," Guardiola admitted. "We'll prepare for Brentford. We will continue and see what happens."

For fans, this match was a reminder of why we love the game—and why wearing your City gear with pride matters, even when the title race gets tight. The never-say-die attitude on display is exactly what champions are made of, and with games still to play, Guardiola's men won't be giving up anytime soon.
