Now 40 and far removed from his athletic peak, Rooney recently took part in a shooting drill that showcased the touch and precision that made him a legend. Despite the years, his finishing remains razor-sharp—a reminder of the elite talent that defined his career.

This will be Rooney's third appearance in the charity event, following standout performances in 2021 and 2025. Last year, he opened the scoring at Old Trafford in a thrilling 5-4 loss to the World XI. As always, he's expected to be the focal point of the English side.
