Yeah, it's only rookie minicamp. But this catch by Panthers WR Chris Brazzell II is certainly worth a look . . .

If the Carolina Panthers are handing out awards for rookie minicamp, wide receiver Chris Brazzell II just made a strong case for top honors. The 6-foot-4 pass catcher turned heads on Friday, but it was his spectacular grab on Saturday that really got people talking.

Sure, it would have been even better if he had kept both feet in bounds in the end zone. But for just his second professional practice, this is the kind of play that shows why the Panthers used a third-round pick on him in the 2026 NFL Draft.

After the session, Brazzell shared what it means to be suiting up for his childhood team. "Fun, man," he said with a smile. "This is my favorite team, so to be out here is a blessing. I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else."

That enthusiasm is backed by serious talent. Brazzell was a first-team All-SEC selection at the University of Tennessee, where he hauled in 62 catches for 1,017 yards and a conference-leading nine touchdowns in 2025. Now, he's bringing that same playmaking ability to the Panthers' practice field.

While it's still early in the offseason workout program, Brazzell's speed and athleticism are already on full display. For Panthers fans who grew up cheering for the team just like their new wide receiver, this is a promising sign of what's to come when the real football action begins.
