Last Saturday, new Los Angeles Rams wide receiver CJ Daniels experienced the greatest night of his football life. Following a prolific collegiate output that saw Daniels make three different stops, playing a major role in the recent successes at Liberty University and the University of Miami, Daniels was selected by the Rams in the sixth round, with the team making a move up to snag the promising playmaker.
The Rams, who have a track record of turning Day 3 pass catchers into NFL success stories, believe Daniels could be the next man to make that transition. When Daniels got the call that the Rams were selecting him, he had one of the more emotional moments of the draft, while surrounded by friends and family. After six collegiate seasons, Daniels had realized a childhood dream and is now in the NFL.

Puka Nacua, Jordan Whittington, and Konata Mumpfield are all Day 3 picks who have been starters at times for the Rams, while Xavier Smith is an undrafted free agent. Considering their rapid ascensions, Daniels is right where he needs to be as he begins his next football journey.
