A "Step Brothers" re-enactment and series of slights from the Los Angeles Chargers marked the NFL's annual wave of schedule release videos.

The NFL schedule release has become more than just a date on the calendar—it's a full-blown entertainment event, and this year's videos did not disappoint. From Hollywood parodies to playful jabs, teams pulled out all the stops to announce their 2026-27 slates in style.

The Las Vegas Raiders kicked things off with a hilarious "Step Brothers" re-enactment, while the Los Angeles Chargers continued their reputation for dishing out disrespect. Their Halo-themed production took shots at several stars, including Marvin Harrison Jr., Puka Nacua, and even Travis Kelce's mom, Donna. The Chargers also threw subtle digs at the New England Patriots, referencing a controversial media storyline involving coach Mike Vrabel.

Other teams got creative too. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers enlisted comedian Bert Kreischer for a "Baywatch" parody called "Tampa Bay Watch." The Los Angeles Rams went full-on "Napoleon Dynamite" with their spoof, and the Jacksonville Jaguars showed star quarterback Trevor Lawrence getting a haircut, moving away from his signature long blonde locks.

Perhaps the most explosive video came from the Carolina Panthers, who partnered with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department bomb squad. Their production featured symbolic objects representing opponents being blown to smithereens—a bold way to kick off the season.

The reigning champion Seattle Seahawks took a different approach, creating fake colognes themed for each opponent in their video. They'll host the Patriots in a rematch of Super Bowl LX for the NFL's regular-season opener on September 9 in Seattle.

Whether it's humor, drama, or outright shade, these schedule release videos have become a fan-favorite tradition—and this year's crop proves the creativity is only getting better.
