Washington Huskies softball star Alexis DeBoer is adding some serious hardware to her collection. After a standout sophomore season, the dynamic first baseman was honored with not one, but two All-Big Ten selections on Monday morning—a testament to her dominance both at the plate and in the field.

DeBoer, who entered the year as a Preseason Second Team All-American following a debut campaign that earned her Big Ten Freshman of the Year, didn't just meet expectations—she shattered them. Starting every game as the heart of coach Heather Tarr's lineup, she was named to the All-Big Ten First Team and also secured a spot on the conference's All-Defense Team.

Hitting primarily out of the No. 2 spot, DeBoer led the Huskies in several key offensive categories. Her 18 home runs tied for 10th in the Big Ten, while she also paced the team with 45 runs scored, a blistering 1.221 OPS, and 36 walks. She finished among the top five on the team in nearly every major offensive stat, posting a .359 batting average, 122 total bases, 60 hits, and 51 RBIs.

But her impact wasn't limited to the batter's box. On defense, DeBoer was a rock at first base, helping the Huskies rank fourth in the conference with a .997 fielding percentage. Handling a team-high 336 chances, she committed just one error while recording 326 putouts, 9 assists, and turning 11 double plays.

With the NCAA Tournament on the horizon, DeBoer is one of five Huskies to earn all-conference honors, giving Tarr a formidable core to lean on in the postseason. For a player who just keeps raising the bar, this double honor is just the latest chapter in what's shaping up to be a legendary career in Seattle.
