Kent have bolstered their spin department with a strategic loan move, securing Warwickshire's Jake Lintott until the end of the 2026 T20 Blast. The 33-year-old left-arm spinner brings a wealth of experience to the Spitfires, having claimed 115 wickets in 104 T20 appearances at an impressive average of 23.06.

Lintott will not only feature in Kent's T20 campaign but will also be available for County Championship selection, adding depth to their bowling arsenal across all formats. His arrival comes as a timely boost for the squad, offering tactical flexibility in the middle overs.

"We're delighted to welcome Jake into the group for the next block of first-team fixtures," said Kent's director of cricket, Simon Cook. "He provides us with an extra dimension to our bowling attack in all formats, and will complement the spin options we have to give us more tactical flexibility."

The seasoned campaigner's journey through domestic cricket is nothing short of impressive. Having previously represented Hampshire and Gloucestershire, Lintott has also made his mark on the global stage. He's been a key player for Southern Brave in the Hundred, featured for Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League, and showcased his skills with Fortune Barishal in the Bangladesh Premier League.

For Kent fans, this loan move signals a clear intent to strengthen their spin resources as they look to make a strong push in the upcoming T20 Blast season.
