What a day for Glacier standout Olivia Warriner! The junior pitcher was absolutely unstoppable, delivering a complete-game performance in the circle while also lighting it up at the plate. Warriner went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles in a dominant 15-3 win over Great Falls High on Tuesday. But she wasn’t done there—she followed it up with a double, triple, and home run to lead the Wolfpack to an 8-3 victory over Great Falls CMR, completing a doubleheader sweep.
Glacier left the Electric City with an impressive 15-3 record, and the team now sets its sights on a road matchup against Missoula Sentinel on Thursday at 5 p.m.
In the first game, Warriner scored four runs and teamed up with Taeler Holt for back-to-back doubles in a three-run first inning that set the tone. Ava Grady was a force at the plate, driving in five RBIs with an RBI single in the first, another in a three-run fifth, and a booming two-run double in the seventh. Taelor Holt added a two-run single in the second, while Tensley Conner launched a leadoff homer in the third. Karley Allen chipped in with an RBI triple in the fifth, and Warriner’s third double of the game pushed the lead to 9-1.
Addy Cunningham also had a standout performance, collecting three hits, two RBIs, and scoring twice. In the circle, Warriner allowed nine hits and three walks while striking out eight batters to secure the win.
In the second game, Ava Grady went the distance, allowing eight hits and two walks while fanning eight. CMR (13-7-1) made a late push with five hits and three runs in the seventh, but Glacier’s early dominance proved too much to overcome. Warriner sparked the offense with a triple in the first, scoring on Holt’s single. Then, in a seven-run second inning, the Wolfpack sent 11 batters to the plate. Warriner highlighted the rally with a three-run home run—her seventh of the season—making it 4-0. Holt and Grady followed with back-to-back doubles, and Conner added a two-run double before coming home on Cunningham’s single to cap the burst.
It was a complete team effort from Glacier, with every player contributing to the sweep. For fans of the Pack, this is a team that’s firing on all cylinders—both at the plate and in the circle—and they’ll look to keep the momentum rolling in Missoula.
