Seren Singleton returns on the wing as the only change made by Wales for Sunday's final Six Nations game against Italy.

Wales have made just one change for their must-win Six Nations clash against Italy on Sunday, with Seren Singleton returning to the starting lineup on the wing.

Singleton, who has earned three senior caps, debuted against Scotland in the opening round and has since started against France and England. She was rested for last weekend's disappointing defeat in Ireland, where Hannah Dallavalle took her place. This week, Dallavalle drops to the bench, while Freya Bell misses out on the matchday 23 entirely.

Head coach Sean Lynn was left frustrated by the performance in Belfast but has backed his side to bounce back, stating, "They are the ones that are going to fix it." Wales have now lost their last nine Championship matches and face the very real threat of a third consecutive Wooden Spoon. However, they can avoid finishing bottom if they beat the Azzurre and Scotland leave Dublin empty-handed against Ireland.

"We came into camp on Tuesday this week and you could see the frustration from the players," Lynn said. "One thing I've said to the girls and staff this week, we've got 80 minutes to put that right. We haven't next week. So going into Italy, it's about an 80-minute performance, putting everything right, pulling it together from Ireland, but taking the positives that we've had from Scotland, France and England."

Italy arrive in Cardiff full of confidence after a convincing win over Scotland and a five-try performance against world champions England. Lynn knows his team must be defensively solid against a side that put a record score on Wales in last year's final round in Parma.

"You don't get a free-flowing attacking team if you can make sure you're winning the collisions," he added. "If you're looking at a small win against Ireland, we gave them the slowest ruck speed in the tournament so far. So it's making sure that we can be competitive in that area to slow them up and keep that consistency."

With everything on the line, Wales will be hoping for a performance worthy of their famous red jersey in front of a passionate home crowd. Kick-off is at 12:15 BST on Sunday.

Wales starting XV: Powell; Singleton, Cox, Keight, J Joyce; George, Bevan; Pyrs, Jones, Tuipulotu, Metcalfe, Evans, Aiono, Lewis (capt), King

Replacements: Reardon, Davies, Rose, John, A Joyce, Lockwood, Dallavalle, Prothero
