This week's nominees are from Churchill, Creswell, Cottage Grove, Junction City, Springfield and South Eugene.

Spring sports action is heating up, and the athletes in the Eugene-Springfield area are leaving it all on the track and field. With the postseason just around the corner, it's time to celebrate the incredible performances that have defined this season. Each week, you have the power to choose the standout star for the Active Chiropractic Athlete of the Week, and this week's girls nominees are nothing short of impressive.

From personal bests to state-leading marks, these athletes have been pushing their limits and rewriting the record books. Let's meet the contenders:

Kiannah Bailey, Creswell Junior – Bailey soared to a personal-best triple jump of 37 feet 8.5 inches at a Class 3A Special District 1 meet on May 6. That leap isn't just a milestone for her—it's the best in the state among all 3A girls this season.

Emmerson Bickford, Cottage Grove Senior – Hurdling her way to glory, Bickford clocked a personal-best 300-meter hurdle time of 49.47 seconds at the Marist Track Classic on May 2. Her performance ranks eighth in the state among Class 4A girls.

Ella Cardwell, Cottage Grove Senior – Cardwell showcased her endurance with a 1,500-meter personal best of 4:55.06, earning second place at the Marist Track Classic. That time places her seventh in the state for Class 4A girls.

Isabelle Chery, South Eugene Sophomore – Chery blazed to a personal-best 200-meter time of 25.19 seconds in a dual meet against Willamette on May 5. Her speed is the ninth-fastest in the entire state, regardless of classification.

Aspen Gambee, Junction City Senior – Gambee had a breakout day at the Marist Track Classic, setting personal bests in both the long jump (17 feet 3 inches) and triple jump (34 feet 10.5 inches). Her triple jump ranks third in the state among Class 4A girls, while her long jump is fourth.

Sailor Hall, Springfield Junior – Hall unleashed a personal-best discus throw of 124 feet 7 inches at the 41st Dean Nice Invitational on May 8, finishing as runner-up. That mark is the best in Class 5A this season and the seventh-best statewide across all classifications.

Jordyn Lee, Creswell Junior – Lee dominated the 400 meters at the Marist Track Classic, winning with a personal-best time of 58.60 seconds. Her performance is the second-fastest among Class 3A girls in the state this season.

Jaylee Litten, Churchill Freshman – Litten made her mark with a standout throw, showcasing the depth of talent in this year's freshman class.
