Spring sports are heating up, and it's time to crown the next Chillicothe Gazette High School Athlete of the Week! This week's nominees delivered some jaw-dropping stats. Jolyn Jett of Adena made history, going 3-for-4 with two home runs to break the single-season home run record (14) and adding 8 RBIs in a win over Fairfield Union. Teammate Coleton Baxter also shined, crushing two homers and driving in four runs against Wellston. Marly Halcomb, also from Adena, went a perfect 4-for-4 with a double and three runs scored versus Washington Court House.

Over at Unioto, Haylee Hull went 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and two RBIs against Waverly. Westfall's Caleb Lowe was a two-way star, pitching a complete-game three-hitter with 12 strikeouts while adding two hits and three RBIs at the plate against Adena. Southeastern's Gracie Brown had a monster game, going 5-for-5 with a double, triple, and four runs scored. Paint Valley's Kyla Littler was a speedster, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, three stolen bases, and two RBIs against Whiteoak. Finally, Adena's Colton Garrison rounded out the list with a 3-for-4 performance featuring three doubles, three runs, and two RBIs against Trimble.
