Here is the third weekly Readers Choice Player of the Week poll for baseball teams in the MyCentralJersey area.

The sophomore righty pitched a complete game six hitter, allowing one earned run, striking out six with one walk Thursday in the Crusaders’ 4-3 win at Belvidere. He also went 2-for-3 with two RBIs; a run scored and walk to lead the Crusaders to their first win of the season.

The sophomore delivered with a one-hit, five-inning shutout with seven strikeouts in a 12-0 win over J.F. Kennedy. He also had six RBIs during the week with a home run.

He pitched four innings with five strikeouts to earn the win in a 7-2 victory over Bridgewater-Raritan. He also drove in two runs. Glazewski went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored in a 14-1 win at Morristown the day before.

The senior fired a five-inning no-hitter giving up two walks as Woodbridge won 14-0 over Edison, the GMC Red Division’s first-place team. He also went 3-for-3 (two doubles) with an RBI, three runs scored and a walk.

Pellegrino pitched a nine-inning, two-hit shutout with five strikeouts in a 3-0 win at Cranford. He also had three hits. In Game 2 of the series, he went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored in a 11-1 win over the Cougars.

The senior had a monster week as Dunellen went 3-0. He- hit .667 (8-for-12) with four RBIs, eight runs scored and 12 stolen bases for the Destroyers.

Shimp’s two-run single gave the Mustangs a 4-2 ninth-inning lead in what became a 5-4 win at Delaware Valley. He was also the winning pitcher with 1 2/3 innings of relief.

Sokolowski has followed up his great junior season with an even better senior spring. He threw a two-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts in a 2-0 win over South River. He has a 0.42 ERA in 33 innings with 58 strikeouts. He’s also hitting .361 (13-for-36) with 13 RBIs on the season.
