Spring sports season in District 10 is heating up, and it's time to celebrate the standout performances. The Erie Times-News, in partnership with Seaway Window and AHN Sports Medicine, is launching its weekly Athlete of the Week polls, running now through early June.

Every Monday, new ballots will go live online, giving you the power to vote for the top male and female athletes. You have until 5 p.m. each Wednesday to cast your vote and help decide who deserves the weekly honor. It's a fantastic way to recognize the hard work and incredible achievements of local student-athletes.

Want to see your favorite player in the running? Fans are encouraged to submit nominations! Send your suggestions to sports@timesnews.com with the athlete's name, school, sport, and a detailed reason for their nomination based on that week's accomplishments. Remember, once an athlete wins a weekly poll, they become ineligible for the rest of the season, ensuring a wide range of talent gets the spotlight.
