The Upstate is full of high school boys soccer talent.
As we get closer to the end of the SCHSL regular season, here’s a chance to pick the 2026 midseason player of year from a selected group of finalists.

Playoffs are scheduled to begin May 6 with the state championships being decided May 22-23 in Columbia. Statistics are through April 5. They are from MaxPreps and coaches’ submissions.
Multiple votes are allowed and will be compiled until noon on April 26.
Erik Martinez, Southside, Sr.: Martinez was the state’s No. 1 player in points per game (6.14), according to MaxPreps. He was fifth with 43 points, including 18 goals, in only nine games.
Isaac Pardo, Greer, Jr.: Pardo ranked seventh in the state with 42 points on 18 goals and six assists.
Brody Pike, Powdersville, Sr.: Pike had 12 goals and nine assists in nine games for a Powdersville team that was ranked No. 1 in the Upstate top 10.
Tre Segarra, Byrnes, Jr.: Segarra tied for the Region 1-5A lead in points with 26 on 11 goals and four assists.
Asher Wilson, Eastside, Sr.: Wilson tied for the Region 1-5A lead in points with 26 on 10 goals and six assists.
