From game-winning hits to dominant pitching, these athletes have been making waves, and now it’s your turn to have a say.

Last week’s winners set the bar high: Madison Gravel from Newburgh took the crown in the large schools category, while Anna Lawless of Burke Catholic shined in the small schools division. Now, a fresh lineup of nominees is vying for the spotlight, and the competition is fierce.

Here’s a look at some of the top performers who delivered unforgettable moments on the field:

One player smashed a single, double, and drove in a run as the Panthers fell just short against Cornwall in a 7-6 thriller on April 29. Another star showcased her speed and power with a triple, two singles, and two RBI to lead the Wizards to a dominant 17-1 win over O’Neill on April 28.

The power hitters were out in full force too. One athlete launched a home run and a double in a 13-1 victory over Monticello on April 27, then followed it up with three hits and seven RBI in a 19-1 rout of Roosevelt the next day. Another standout doubled, homered, drove in three runs, and struck out six for the win as the Gladiators topped Minisink Valley 8-1 on April 30. She then threw a no-hitter with 13 strikeouts and added two home runs in a 17-0 blowout over Monticello on May 1.

On the pitching side, one ace fanned nine batters in a two-hitter to lift the Vikings past Warwick 2-1 on April 29. Another hurler allowed just one hit and struck out nine in a 12-6 win over Rockland. And a third pitcher recorded a triple and 10 strikeouts in a narrow 2-1 loss to Chapel Field on April 27, before bouncing back with a three-hitter and 11 strikeouts on May 1.

Other nominees made their mark with clutch hits and steady defense. One player singled twice and added a double and three RBI in a 9-1 win over Kingston. Another had a double and two RBI in a tough 13-2 loss to Kingston. A two-run triple helped the Crusaders blank Kingston 2-0, while a single and a double sparked the Tigers to a 13-2 victory over Middletown.
