It's that time again—time to cast your vote for the Tribune's Athlete of the Week! Last week, we celebrated Fleming Daniel of C.M. Russell High boys' tennis and Georgia Pike of CMR girls' tennis, who took home the honors. Now, a fresh slate of nominees awaits your support, spanning standout performances from May 12-15.

This week's lineup features two boys and two girls, all showcasing the kind of grit and skill that defines high school sports in Great Falls. Whether you're a fan of clutch hits on the diamond or soaring heights on the track, there's something here to get excited about. The polls are open now through Friday, May 15, at 11:59 p.m., with winners announced in next week's feature.

Let's meet the nominees:

Carson Hollern, CMR baseball: This junior infielder delivered at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBIs, a double, and a walk in a key win over Billings West. Hollern's consistency has been a spark for the Rustlers this season.

Salvatore Bergeron, Great Falls High track: The senior soared to new heights—literally—by tying his personal best of 14 feet, 6 inches to win the pole vault at Helena. Bergeron's precision and power make him a threat in any meet.

Nominations for future polls can be sent to sports reporter Grady Higgins at ghiggins@greatfallstribune.com. For now, get voting and help crown this week's champions!
