This week's poll is officially open, and the competition is fierce. From the track to the diamond, these athletes have delivered jaw-dropping performances that deserve your recognition. Here's a quick rundown of the nominees:

On the baseball field, Drewnowski was a force at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a home run, four RBIs, and three runs scored to lead his team to a 21-1 victory over Rondout. Santana also made noise with five hits, four RBIs, and a run scored across the week. Cappillino was a hitting machine, tallying six hits, four RBIs, and seven runs scored. On the mound, Finnigan tossed a one-hit complete game, striking out eight batters without a single walk in a 6-0 shutout of Fox Lane. Correa was equally impressive, spinning six innings of three-hit ball while also driving in two runs in an 11-4 win over Red Hook.

In lacrosse, Palmer dominated with 13 goals over the week, including a seven-goal outburst in the Huskies' 19-3 win over Newburgh. Sacs anchored the defense with 16 saves in a 12-3 victory over Dobbs Ferry.

On the track, Doughty soared to victory in the javelin throw at the prestigious Glenn D. Loucks Games in White Plains, launching a 168-foot, 2-inch heave that turned heads.
