After another exciting week of girls track and field, it's time to vote for the top performers

Another thrilling week of high school girls track and field has come and gone, and the performances were nothing short of spectacular. From record-breaking throws to lightning-fast distances, these athletes left it all on the track and field. Now, it's your turn to decide who deserves the title of HSS North Jersey Performer of the Week for May 4-10.

Let's break down the standout stars who made headlines:

Dominating the Field Events: A MIT-bound senior delivered a jaw-dropping double in the A division, winning the shot put with a meet-best 42-2 3/4. She followed that up with her second 150-foot-plus discus throw of the season—the second best in the state and a new divisional record. Consistency at its finest.

Distance Dominance: Another senior capped her sensational Passaic County meet career with a powerful double in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters. She set a school record in the latter event with a blistering 10:57.06, proving she's a force to be reckoned with on the track.

Overcoming Adversity: A Cornell-bound senior battled injuries all season that threatened her final spring campaign. But she rose to the occasion, winning the 400 hurdles and long jump, and taking second in the 200 and triple jump—keeping her team in the hunt throughout the meet.

Sophomore Sensation: This young star had a spectacular first day at the Passaic County championships, winning the 400 hurdles and 400 meters. In between, she shattered the Passaic County record in the javelin with a state-leading throw of 140 feet. She also anchored the winning 4x400 relay team. A true all-around performance.

Under the Radar, Over the Top: A senior who has been quietly spectacular all season finally got her due, winning the C division 100 and 200 meters with impressive times. She also ran great legs for the winning 4x100 relay and second-place 4x400 relay teams. Consistency and speed personified.

History Maker: A junior became the first North Jersey girl to break the 5-minute barrier in the 1,600 meters this year, clocking a stunning 4:57.89 to win the A division title. She's now the 26th Bergen County runner to achieve that milestone, and she also took fourth in a scorching 800 meters race. A name to remember.
