The winner of last week’s Girls Athlete of the Week poll was GNB Voc-Tech’s Zoey Chase. She had more than 4,000 votes (54%) to receive the honor.
The previous winner was Bishop Stang’s A’mya Acevedo.

Against GNB Voc-Tech, Read took first in the 100, 200 and long jump and second in the triple jump.
Correira won the 100 hurdles (20.5) and 400 hurdles (74.8) against Case.
Against Case, Thorell took first in the shot put (28-11.5) and discus (84-5).
Against Atlantis Charter, Cookson took first in the 100, 200 (28.8) and the triple jump (29-11.5).
Perry won the shot put (27-6) and the discus (79-3) against Atlantis Charter.
Smith averaged 10 saves per game in three straight games.
Araujo had a combined 10 goals, 1 assist and 3 draw controls in two games.
In two games, Carbone had a combined 8 goals, 2 assists and 14 draw controls.
Against New Bedford, Simmons had 1 goal and 3 assists.
White had 3 goals and 1 assist in a win over New Bedford.
In three games, Lewis had a combined 4 goals and 3 assists.
Souza had 3 goals and 2 assists in a win over Case. She also scored twice against Plymouth North.
Thompson had 3 goals and 3 draw controls against Apponequet.
Pavao won her first singles match against West Bridgewater.
Hannigan won her second singles matches against Apponequet, Arlington Catholic and St. Mary’s.
