The TSSAA softball region brackets are set, and district tournaments wrapped up last week with some incredible performances. Now it's your turn to decide who takes the spotlight. Cast your vote for The Daily Herald's Columbia area TSSAA girls Athlete of the Week for May 4-9, and celebrate the athletes who brought their A-game to the field and track.

Here are the standout nominees, each showing grit and skill in their respective sports:

Alyssa Davis, Columbia Academy: Davis dominated in the discus at the DII-A Middle Region meet, claiming first place with a throw of 107-6. She also added a fourth-place finish in the shot put at 31-0, proving her versatility in track and field.

Gabby Bolton, Columbia Central: Bolton crushed it at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run, six RBIs, and a stolen base in a high-scoring 31-14 win over Independence. Her power hitting made a big statement.

Allie Reese Hill, Columbia Central: Reese Hill shined in the jumps, taking second in the triple jump at the Section 2-3A meet with a mark of 36-7.5. She also clocked a solid third-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles at 16.61 seconds.

Addelyn Harrison, Spring Hill: Harrison soared to second place in the pole vault at the Class 2A Middle Section meet, clearing 10-6. She also showed endurance in the hurdles, placing fifth in the 300-meter hurdles (50.99 secs) and seventh in the 100-meter hurdles (17.36 secs).

Greenley Taylor, Summertown: Taylor was a force in softball, going 3-for-3 with two home runs and four RBIs to lead her team to a 9-7 victory over Community. Her clutch hitting turned the tide.

Addyson Willingham, Summit: Willingham delivered in a slugfest, going 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, and four RBIs in an 18-17 win over Page. Her bat kept the offense rolling.
