Spring sports are heating up, and we've got another standout group of high school athletes ready for your vote! The Oklahoman's Landmark Fine Homes Girls Athlete of the Week poll for May 4-10 is now live, and the competition is fierce. Last week's winner was Cashion track star Khloe Kastner, but this week brings a fresh lineup of talent from golf, soccer, and slowpitch softball.

On the links, a trio of golfers delivered impressive performances at state tournaments. Carl Albert freshman Charlotte Dixon fired a 16-over 162 to finish as runner-up at the Class 5A state championship, just five strokes behind Tahlequah's Kylie Fisher. Norman North sophomore Harlow Gregory also claimed second place, shooting a 10-over 154 at the Class 6A tournament behind Jenks standout and Ole Miss signee Lisa Herman. Heritage Hall senior Gabriella Gross tied for second at the Class 3A state tournament with a 17-over 159, narrowly missing the title by two strokes.

On the soccer pitch, Edmond North junior and OU commit Haley Bechtel was unstoppable, scoring two goals in a 4-0 playoff win over Edmond Santa Fe and adding two more in a 3-1 quarterfinal victory against Owasso. Santa Fe South junior Valeria Romero also shined, notching a hat trick and an assist in a 6-0 first-round playoff win over El Reno.

Slowpitch softball stars rounded out the nominees. Mustang senior Rylann Beeson crushed a game-changing grand slam in the third inning to lead her team past Choctaw for the 6A state title. Dale senior and South Carolina signee Boo Herber went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs, powering the Pirates to their second straight Class 4A championship. Washington senior Emersyn Massey was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with a home run, helping the Warriors secure back-to-back 5A titles.
