Every week of the lacrosse season, we take a moment to recognize the athletes who lit up the field with standout performances. It all starts with coaches sending in their nominations for the lohud Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital. Each Monday, we narrow down the field and present you with the finalists. Then, it's your turn to vote—and vote again—until a winner emerges. That champion earns five minutes of fame across our social media channels.
This week, we're thrilled to spotlight 12 exceptional players whose efforts last week deserve a nod. These athletes have shown skill, determination, and sportsmanship that make the game great. Past winners include Aiden Kinsley (Kennedy Catholic), Logan Idi (Ossining), Jackson Rosenfeld (Ardsley), A.J. Pesce (Valhalla), and Chase Harrison (Edgemont)—each a testament to the talent in our region.
From thrilling matchups like Mamaroneck's narrow 10-9 victory over Rye, to countless other hard-fought battles, the energy on the field has been electric. Now, it's time to decide who will join the ranks of our previous honorees. Cast your vote and help us celebrate the next lacrosse star!
