It's time to cast your vote for the Blue FCU Fort Collins-area Girls Athlete of the Week! We're thrilled to partner with Blue Federal Credit Union once again to celebrate the incredible talent of our local high school athletes during the 2025-26 school year.

This week marks the 33rd installment of our series, and with spring championship season winding down, the competition is heating up. Our nominees hail from standout performances in soccer and track and field, featuring athletes from Liberty Common, Fossil Ridge, Timnath, Windsor, and Rocky Mountain.

Here's how it works: every Monday through Thursday, fans can head to coloradoan.com/sports to vote for their favorite nominee. Voting is open until 11:59 a.m. on May 14, and we'll announce the winner later that same day. It's your chance to cheer on the athletes who've been giving it their all on the field and track!

This season has been packed with memorable moments. It all started with Rocky Mountain football's Bode Nesbitt, who set the tone by returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown against Northglenn back in August. Since then, we've seen standout performances across multiple sports, from Poudre's Owen Addington dominating in tennis to Wellington's Kensley Story crushing home runs in softball. Fossil Ridge's Emery Johnson turned heads at the Nike Southwest Nationals with 58 kills, while PSD quarterback Brooke Pravlik lit up the scoreboard with over 300 total yards and four touchdowns in a single week.

Now it's your turn to make your voice heard. Check out the nominees below, pick your favorite, and help us honor the best of Fort Collins-area athletics. Let's celebrate the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship that make these athletes shine!
