One of the biggest scenes of the year took place in Knoxville this past weekend when country music superstar played a concert in Neyland Stadium, the home of the Tennessee Volunteers.

Neyland Stadium has seen plenty of legendary moments on the gridiron, but this past weekend, the home of the Tennessee Volunteers hosted a different kind of spectacle—and it brought out some of the biggest names in football history.

Country music superstar Luke Combs took the stage in Knoxville for what quickly became one of the most memorable concerts of the year. While Combs himself is an Appalachian State alum, he made sure to pay homage to his Tennessee surroundings by inviting some Volunteer royalty to join him for a round of beers on stage.

Among the guests were two legendary Tennessee quarterbacks: Peyton Manning—a Vols icon and Pro Football Hall of Famer—and Joey Aguilar. They were joined by former UT linebacker Al Wilson and current Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel. The sight of these gridiron greats shotgunning beers with a country music star was a scene no Vols fan will soon forget.

But Manning wasn't the only Hall of Fame quarterback in the house that night. In a post-concert Instagram post, Combs revealed that Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre was also in attendance, spotted in the Neyland Stadium locker room alongside Manning. This wasn't Favre's first visit to the iconic venue—he previously attended Tennessee's clash with Georgia back in 2017.

For Vols fans, the weekend was a perfect blend of music, nostalgia, and football royalty—a reminder that Neyland Stadium isn't just for Saturday afternoons in the fall. Whether you're there for a game or a concert, the spirit of Tennessee football is never far away.
