Dusan Vlahovic is set to become a free agent on July 1, and with no new contract in sight at Juventus, the Serbian striker is reportedly holding out for offers from European giants Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
The 26-year-old forward and Juventus had agreed to postpone contract extension talks until Vlahovic fully recovered from a serious injury in November 2025. Now back in the squad and fresh off scoring in a 1-1 draw with Verona, the situation remains at a standstill.
Juventus are offering a salary of €6 million per season—half of Vlahovic's current wages—but the main sticking point is commission fees. According to Sportmediaset, the Serbia international is eyeing a move away from Serie A after his stints with Fiorentina and Juventus, making a new deal unlikely.
Vlahovic had been heavily linked with AC Milan and a reunion with former Juventus coach Max Allegri, but those talks have cooled. Now, he's reportedly waiting for proposals from Barcelona, who may need to replace the aging Robert Lewandowski, or Bayern Munich, who are looking for an understudy to Harry Kane.
Premier League interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea has also quieted recently, leaving Vlahovic's future wide open as the summer transfer window approaches. For now, all eyes are on whether Barcelona or Bayern will make the first move.
