"We may not have had that many clear-cut chances, but we certainly had the opportunity to win the match. We were so close to the final but just couldn't get over the line," reflected captain Manuel Neuer. The veteran goalkeeper's frustration was palpable as he described a night where Bayern pushed hard but fell just short.

Manager Vincent Kompany, ever the competitor, delivered a message of resilience. "It's obviously tough to take. We matched PSG, and these games are decided by small details," he said. "Our first half was good—I felt we were the better team and often got into dangerous areas. But PSG defended the crosses very well and made sure we couldn't get the final shot off."

The Belgian coach acknowledged the quality of the opposition while looking ahead with determination. "PSG have so much quality—they've probably been the best team in Europe over the last two years.
