It has been a fascinating 2026 NFL Draft for the Minnesota Vikings. They started by taking defensive tackle Caleb Banks 18th overall. They would trade down from 49 to 51, taking linebacker Jake Golday.

Between 51 and 82, the franchise would trade away Jonathan Greenard to Philadelphia for a pair of thirds. With their first of two third-round picks in this draft, at 82, Minnesota would turn the card in for Domonique Orange, DT out of Iowa State.

Orange is your prototypical nose tackle. He will be a rotational player for sure, as he brings most of his value in the run game as a pure stuffer. He has room to grow in terms of rushing the passer, but he, paired with Caleb Banks, is a nice set of building blocks on the inside of the defensive line.

Orange reminds me a lot of Vita Vea, with a massive frame and good hands. Now, we wait and see the development.
