The NFL Draft may be in the rearview mirror, but that doesn't mean the mock draft fun has to stop. Bleacher Report recently shook things up with a creative twist: they combined the last five draft classes into one gigantic "megadraft," essentially creating a fantasy scenario that would make any Madden player jealous.

Here's how it works: every player selected in the NFL Drafts from 2020 to 2024 suddenly becomes available, and each team gets one "franchise tag" pick to keep a key player from before 2022. With that foundation, they went two rounds deep in this re-draft—and the Minnesota Vikings made the most of their opportunities.

First up, the Vikings franchise-tagged superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson, locking in their offensive anchor. Then, with their first pick, they landed All-Pro cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. While Stingley might not have the household name status of Patrick Surtain II or Sauce Gardner, his stats speak volumes: he's allowed fewer than 50% of targets to be completed for three straight seasons, and quarterbacks haven't posted a passer rating above 54.0 against him since his rookie year in 2022. That's lockdown coverage, plain and simple.

In the second round, the Vikings doubled down on their secondary by selecting the versatile Travis Hunter—a dynamic cornerback who also has wide receiver potential. Hunter not only completes the defensive backfield but also gives the team a potential WR2 option alongside Jefferson. Imagine a Vikings defense coached by Brian Flores, featuring Stingley on one side and Hunter on the other. It's a defensive coordinator's dream and an offensive coordinator's nightmare.

Of course, this is all just a fun thought experiment—one that likely won't become reality anytime soon. But for Vikings fans, it's a tantalizing glimpse at what could be. Whether you're stocking up on purple gear or just dreaming of a revamped secondary, this megadraft idea is a reminder that in football, the possibilities are endless.
